“We love the water!” is one of the first things Rory said to me when we started talking about her and Ryan’s engagement session. So I suggested the first thing that came to MY mind – which was doing a session in a vintage boat on Lady Bird Lake!
Rory & Ryan have been together for over 4 years and their 2024 wedding is going to be a big black tie affair. Joy and intention are core elements of both their relationship and their wedding planning, and it really shines through in their engagement photos! They perfectly matched their outfits to the theme of the shoot and their session was filled with smiles and giggles. We tried to get a lot of close up shots of them in the boat as well as wide angle shots showing off the gorgeous Austin skyline. Of course we also got some pictures on land to make the most out of our time and make sure they get a lot of variety in their images. After sunset we used flash to create a whimsical and vintage feel.
I’m so grateful that they chose me as their wedding photographer and can’t wait for their big day!
